چکیده
Power flow (PF) analysis of microgrids (MGs) has been gaining a lot attention due to the evolution islanded MGs. To calculate MGs’ PF solution, globally convergent technique is proposed using Differential Evolution (DE)- popular optimization algorithm for global non-convex optimization. This paper formulates problem as constrained (COP) considering all operating conditions Droop Controlled Islanded MGs (DCIMGs). solve COP, $\epsilon $ DE-NGM, (Epsilon based with Newton-Gauss-based mutation) proposed. The algorithm, novel variant DE since it comprises mutation operator, (NGM). NGM includes important features DE’s strategies well reduces constraint violation by utilizing information constraint-space. Numerical experiments validate that convergence ability algorithms in solving COPs than existing state-of-the-art algorithms. Furthermore, tool better robustness tools on ill- and well-conditioned systems heavy loads, different limit violations, inappropriate final solutions (far from flat start). performed comparative confirms good agreement accuracy efficacy method MG’s PF.

Distributed Nonlinear Robust Control for Power Flow in Islanded Microgrids
In this paper, a robust local controller has been designed to balance the power for distributed energy resources (DERs) in an islanded microgrid. Three different DER types are considered in this study; photovoltaic systems, battery energy storage systems, and synchronous generators. Since DER dynamics are nonlinear and uncertain, which may destabilize the power system or decrease the performanc...
متن کاملOptimal Power Flow in Islanded Microgrids Using a Simple Distributed Algorithm
In this paper, the problem of distributed power losses minimization in islanded distribution systems is dealt with. The problem is formulated in a very simple manner and a solution is reached after a few iterations. The considered distribution system, a microgrid, will not need large bandwidth communication channels, since only closeby nodes will exchange information. The correction of generate...

This paper develops a new distributed secondary cooperative control scheme to coordinate distributed generators (DGs) in islanded microgrids (MGs). A finite time frequency regulation strategy containing a consensus-based distributed active power regulator is presented, which can not only guarantee the active power sharing but also enable all DGs’ frequencies to converge to the reference value w...

This paper presents an algorithm for solving optimal power flow problem through the application of Differential Evolution (DE). The objective is to minimize the total fuel cost of thermal generating units having quadratic cost characteristics subjected to limits on generator real and reactive power outputs, bus voltages, transformer taps and power flow of transmission lines. The proposed method...
متن کاملA Local Power Control Scheme for Electronically Interfaced Distributed Generators in Islanded Microgrids
The conventional real power-frequency and reactive power-voltage droop characteristics are commonly employed to share the electric power among parallel distributed generation (DG) units. Despite some advantages such as easy implementation and no need for communication infrastructure, inaccurate reactive power sharing is one of the main disadvantages of conventional droop control. This paper pre...
